Katlego Qhoane AGA(SA), is a seasoned finance executive with over 13 years of experience in strategic financial management, reporting, and governance. She holds a BCom in Accounting Sciences from the University of Pretoria and is registered with SAICA as an Associate General Accountant.

She currently serves as Acting Chief Financial Officer of Motseng Ideas Infrastructure Group (MIIG) Pty Ltd. Her strengths lie in delivering accurate financial insights, ensuring statutory compliance, and leading high-performing teams to support strategic decision-making and long-term value creation.

Her career spans both private and public sector-aligned entities, including a secondment to Imbumba Aganang Facilities Management, where she oversaw board reporting, audit preparedness, and governance frameworks.

Katlego began her career at SizweNtsalubaGobodo, gaining foundational experience in auditing and internal controls. She brings to the boardroom a principled leadership style, deep analytical acumen, and a commitment to transparency, performance, and sustainable impact across diverse sectors.

Bongiwe is a visionary executive, admitted Attorney of the High Court, and seasoned infrastructure strategist whose dynamic career spans over two decades of transformative leadership in infrastructure, aviation, and the legal sector. Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer of Motseng Ideas Infrastructure Group (MIIG) Pty Ltd, she leads the stewardship of R800 million PPP assets – driving inclusive growth and investing in South Africa’s long-term economic resilience.

At the helm of MIIG, Bongiwe is powered by reliable and scalable access to capital, enabling her to pursue a bold investment mandate focussed on both brownfield secondary and greenfield opportunities. Her mission: to deliver commercially sound, socially responsive infrastructure that not only meets today’s needs but lays the foundation for a more equitable and prosperous future.

Bongiwe’s career is marked by courageous reinvention. After establishing herself in private legal practice, she broke new ground in the aviation industry-becoming one of its most influential voices, recognised for how she reshaped the sector, elevating its standards and impact.

Her expertise cuts across strategic planning, infrastructure investment, regulatory compliance, commercialisation, and the development of airport economies. She is widely recognised for her ability to align commercial imperatives with national priorities, always with a view toward building lasting, transformative infrastructure.

1Nandi Trindad

Nandi trindad

Nandi is a seasoned infrastructure investment and facilities management executive with over 25 years of experience across real estate, social infrastructure, Facilities Management and Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) in Southern Africa. She has a proven track record of structuring and delivering impact-driven investments, leading multidisciplinary teams, and driving operational excellence and inclusive economic growth.

She is a Board Member of the Motseng IDEAS Infrastructure Group (MIIG), where she also serves on the Social and Ethics Committee. Nandile played a pivotal role in Motseng’s acquisition of the three PPP office accommodation assets from AIIM, which seeded the formation of MIIG, a vehicle now delivering impact driven PPP infrastructure solutions across the SADC region.

Nandi’s other current and former board roles are as follows: Non-Executive Director, Imbumba Aganang Facilities Management (OSC for DIRCO PPP) and member of Finance & Remuneration Committees. Non-Executive Director, Buhler Empowerment Initiative (since 2018). Former: Chairperson, Operations Committee and EXCO member, Tsebo Facilities Solutions. Former: Non-Executive Director, Nemus Trade & Invest (2017–2019) – Private Party for Tshwane House PPP. Former: Non-Executive Director, Tirisano Facilities Management (2019) – OSC for DOBE PPP.

She holds a B. Social Science (Hons), a Postgraduate Diploma in Personnel Management, and a B. Social Science all from the University of Natal, Durban, and a Certificate in Facilities Management from University of Cape Town.

Mpho Mutloane

Mpho joined AIIM as an Investment Manager in 2022 focusing on the IDEAS fund. Mpho is responsible for analysing new investment opportunities, structuring of transactions as well as the execution, realisation and performance monitoring of investments.

Prior to joining AIIM, Mpho worked as an Investment Executive at Metier Private Equity managing their Sustainable Capital PE Fund which is a pan-African renewable energy, waste and water infrastructure fund. Mpho also worked at Fieldstone which focused on African infrastructure advisory.

Mpho served his articles at FirstRand on the CA training programme which included rotations across various areas of the corporate and investment bank.

Mpho holds a Bachelor of Business Science Honours degree and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Accounting from the University of Cape Town. Mpho qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2016.

Ipeleng Mkhari

Ipeleng is co-founder and CEO of Motseng Investment Holdings (Motseng), a 100% black owned and 70% woman owned and led diversified investment holdings group, with geographic representation in five SADC countries, Lesotho, Mozambique, Botswana, Mauritius and South Africa. Motseng is a multi-award winning organisation with underlying investments in commercial and industrial property, property and facilities management, telecommunications, infrastructure concessions and engineering businesses.

Over her 26 year career, she has been actively involved in business and equally advocating for the inclusion of women in the commercial property sector as entrepreneurs and professionals. Ipeleng is regarded as one of 100 Top Business Leaders 2022 in the commercial property sector by the South African Institute of Black Property Practitioners (SAIBPP), and during her 26 -year career she has been recognised and awarded by leading business organisations, advocacy groups and international bodies.

Ipeleng holds a Bachelor of Social Science degree, has completed The Executive Development Programme at Wits Business School and is an Archbishop Tutu Fellow. She has served on various boards of unlisted and listed businesses, public sector agencies and non-profit organisations. She also serves as an independent non- executive director of a various boards and is a trustee of Women’s Property Network education trust and is a director and Past President of South African Property Owners Association (SAPOA) 2018/19.
